Meet Our Doctoral Intern – Jessica Kotik, MS

Jessica is a doctoral candidate in the school psychology program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Jessica graduated from Kent State University with a BS in Psychology. She holds a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and a graduate certification in Grief, Loss, and Trauma from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Jessica’s research interests include academic and behavior interventions, particularly for postsecondary students with disabilities. She has successfully defended her dissertation, which focused on identifying strategies that increase active participation from students with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the college classroom.

In her free time, Jessica likes to spend time with friends and family, go to musicals, and travel.

Jessica is a Doctoral Intern through the Tennessee Internship Consortium in Psychology, an APA Accredited Internship program with a school psychology focus. In addition to her time in the clinic, Jessica also provides services in the Jefferson County School District.
