Biography
Addie Welch is a fourth year school psychology doctoral student in the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University in 2018 and her master's degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis from UT in 2022. Addie's career and research interests are centered on best assessment and treatment practices for children and young adults with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. Her dissertation is about improving independent purchasing skills in postsecondary students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In her free time, Addie enjoys great books, bad reality television, and good times with family and friends.
